The rotor type water meter is generally used to detect the total flow of one-way water. It is suitable for water pipes with a pipe diameter of 15mm to 20mm. It consists of four parts: a casing, an impeller measuring mechanism, a deceleration mechanism and an indicator. Its structure is simple , it is also convenient to use.

Working Principle:
We know that the rotor-type water meter is a single-flow water meter and a multi-flow water meter. The working principles of these two water meters have similarities and differences.
The working principle of the single-flow water meter is: the water flow will tangentially impact the position of the impeller from the water inlet of the watch case, so that the impeller will rotate, and the number of revolutions of the impeller can be recorded through the gear reduction mechanism. When recording the water consumption, The total flow is measured by the number of revolutions of the impeller.
The working principle of the multi-flow water meter is basically similar to that of the single-flow water meter, except that its impeller box has a distribution function, and several beams of water flow tangentially impact the position of the impeller from the water inlet of the impeller box. After the impact force is applied, it is balanced, thereby reducing the wear of the impeller support part caused by the large water flow, which can well reduce the influence of scale and wear on the water meter measurement, so that the water volume calculation is more accurate.
